This month, our CEO, Michelle Talicuran, had the privilege of joining one of the weekly site walkthroughs at Toll Melbourne Airport Business Park (Team Global Express).

Six recently upskilled 360 job seekers joined the walkthrough, witnessing first-hand the Toll People VIC team's care and commitment to their candidates.

During the visit, Toll People Onsite Consultant Merita emphasised that at Toll, “Everyone deserves the right to improve.” She highlighted the importance of on-the-job training and effective communication, vital to sustainable employment. Job seekers are nonetheless reassured they are in capable hands as they embark on a career in warehousing with Toll Group.

Over the past six months, thanks to our strong partnership with the Toll People VIC team, we have successfully placed 90 job seekers from diverse backgrounds into work, 60 of whom started their employment journey at the Toll Melbourne Airport site.

The 360 team are grateful for the level of commitment shown by the VIC Toll People, Workforce Australia and Transition to Work teams as we continue to support those most in need!

We’re thrilled to announce the successful launch of our first Brisbane Forklift Advantage Program!

We recently had 12 participants from diverse backgrounds complete the program. An impressive 50% of the group were women job seekers, demonstrating their determination to pursue non-traditional warehouse roles.

Participants completed modules on warehouse essentials, workplace safety, safe manual handling training, forklift course preparation, and accredited forklift training.

All ready to kickstart their careers with a reputable transport and logistics company, Toll Group, and begin their employment journey in warehousing.

Congratulations again to all the participants for their dedication to learning and upskilling. It was truly inspiring to witness their level of commitment, engagement, and enjoyment throughout the program!

Last week, we upskilled 14 job seekers through our Toll People Warehouse Masterclass Program for the TGE Melbourne Airport Parcel Centre.

A special thank you to David, the VIC Functional Assessor, for sharing invaluable insights on Toll safety practices. His live demonstrations on safe lifting not only demonstrated his commitment to the candidates but also boosted their confidence as they prepared for their assessments.

We're thrilled to share a 100% success rate in the Fit4Task functional assessments! Seven participants have already begun their employment journey with Toll, while others are being confirmed for their first shifts.

A big shoutout to David and the Toll People Derrimut team for ensuring a positive start for each job seeker! Together, we're building a safer and more skilled diverse workforce!

Thomas had the pleasure to meet so many young enthusiastic job seekers this week at the Westgate Community Initiatives Group Ltd. (WCIG) Step Into Your Career EXPO.

Several participants have since reached out to Threesixty Consulting Group and we look forward to meeting them individually tomorrow to explore career opportunities within Toll.

Over the past few months, we facilitated two Warehouse Masterclass Programs in WA, helping 20 job seekers from diverse backgrounds secure employment at Toll Perth sites.

Today, we celebrate an additional group of 13 motivated participants who are completing their work-related training, and excited to see them on their path to sustainable employment through Toll People.
